Frequently asked questions
How do I use these fonts in Photoshop, Figma or Canva?
Download the font, open the file and choose Install (or copy it into your fonts folder), then restart the app. Canva lets you upload your own fonts through its Brand Kit on paid plans.
Unicode or Preeti: which should I pick?
Unicode fonts work everywhere: you type normal Nepali (try our Nepali typing tool) and any device can read it. Preeti-style fonts map Nepali letters onto English keys, so the text only looks right while the font is installed. Choose Preeti only if a printer or older software needs it.
My text shows English letters instead of Nepali. Why?
That happens when Preeti-encoded text is shown in a normal font, or Unicode text is shown in a Preeti font. Convert with the Unicode to Preeti converter or switch to a Unicode font.
Can I use these fonts commercially?
Fonts marked Open licence (OFL) can be used commercially. For fonts that show “Licence not stated”, contact the designer before using them in paid work.
