How to Use
Basic
Phonetic typing
Type Nepali words as they sound in English. Consonant clusters form automatically with halanta.
namaste→नमस्तेCase sensitive
Retroflex & similar letters
Lowercase t/d/n/s = त/द/न/स. Capital T/D/N/Sh = ट/ड/ण/ष. These are the only case-sensitive letters.

Keep English words
Wrap any English text in curly braces {} to keep it in English inside your Nepali text.

Separate joined letters
If letters join incorrectly, use / to break them. Prevents unwanted conjuncts from forming.

Explicit halanta
Add backslash (\) after a consonant or inherent-a syllable to place a halanta (्) explicitly.

Anusvara & Chandrabindu
Type * for anusvara (ं) and ** for chandrabindu (ँ) anywhere in your text.
sa*bidhan→संबिधानaa→आ, ii/ee→ई, oo/uu→ऊ. Retroflex: T→ट, Th→ठ, D→ड, Dh→ढ, N→ण, Sh→ष. Ligatures: ksh→क्ष, gya→ज्ञ, shr→श्र, tr→त्र. Special R: rri→ऋ, rree→ॠ, rr→र्, ri^→रि. om → ॐ.Try an Example
